DESCRIPTION:

When it comes to casting extreme distances or boating a rig out even further the Daiwa Whisker 45 SCW QD OT begins to come into its own.

This is Daiwa’s first reel to feature the QDM drag system, letting you adjust the drag from open to closed via 3/4 of one turn. The more common QD only requires a 1/4 turn.

The LC Long Cast 45mm spool combined with Slow Cross Wrap line lay, applies minimal friction during line release, enabling extreme casting distances.

Tough Digigear II delivers ultra-smooth running and optimised power transmission – ideally suited tp retrieval of rigs over great distances.

The Daiwa Whisker is fitted with a ‘C’ spool (300m – 0.35mm) and comes supplied with two spare spools; ‘LD’ (530m- 0.35) and an ‘SLD’ (700m–0.35mm for large waters).
